Cloud SMTP for PrestaShop!

PrestaShop is one of the world’s fastest growing e-commerce platforms. Thanks to the open code every day more and more online stores are based mainly on this system. In the age of growing competition, communication with customers begins to play a significant role. Sadly, in many cases, email messages end up in the SPAM folder or do not reach customer’s mailbox at all.

Switching infrastructure to EmailLabs will not only increase deliverability, but also:

• allows to track real-time statistics of your email performance,
• makes it easier to access detailed logs of all messages sent,
• lets you use a dedicated IP address and take care of your own sender reputation,
• separates traffic for transactional and marketing messages,
• automatically blocks sending to non-existent email addresses.

How to setup SMTP server in PrestaShop?

• From the menu on the left, select ‘Advanced Parameters’ and then click on the ‘E-mail’ section.

• Next you need to apply the SMTP details for your email account:

• Select: ‘Set my own SMTP parameters (for advanced useres ONLY)’ and optionally “Both” which allows your emails keep the HTML and Text formatting at the same time. This will increase the reputation of your messages with various mailbox providers and make your messages readable e.g. on smartwatches.
• Enter SMTP details you received from us in the welcome email and click “save”.

Mail domain name – the name of your domain from which messages will be sent
SMTP server – smtp.emaillabs.net.pl
SMTP username – enter your username/panel name: 1.**********.smtp
SMTP password – SMTP password you have set in the Emaillabs Panel>SMTP Accounts>Active Accounts>change password
Encryption – SSL or TLS (optional ‘none’)
Port –  465 for SSL, 587 for TLS

Perform a test order in the store to check results. If the return-path field contains the ending marketing.emaillabs.net.pl it means your message was sent by EmailLabs.
